THOSE LUCKY WILD HORSES THOSE LUCKY HORSES;  MANAGED BY THE U.S. GOVT. AND BLM.  ALL THEIR NEEDS ARE SURELY MET.  SOUNDS LIKE AN OLD FASHIONED ROUND UP..YES SIR; EXCEPT THIS ONE IS DONE BY HELICOPTER.  CAN YOU IMAGINE HOW FRIGHTENING THAT MIGHT BE?  ALL HORSES FORCED TO RUN FROM THE DEAFENING METAL MONSTER.  ANY INJURED,  AGED OR NEWBORN HAVE TO KEEP THE SAME PACE...OR.....

NO REASON FOR HORSE LOVERS TO FEEL CONCERN ABOUT THE DESTINY OF THESE WILD HORSES.  YEAH SURE!!!  A FEW HEAD FOUND NEW HOMES AT AUCTION....HMMM,  WOULD THAT NEW HOME BE A SLAUGHTER HOUSE?

WHAT'S GOING ON HERE?  WHO HAS TARGETED THE HORSE POPULATION FOR ANNIHILATION?  LEAVE THEM ALONE!!!!

THOSE LUCKY WILD HORSES--AFTER THOUGHT "THE REMAINING HORSES NOT ADOPTED WILL BE SENT TO CANYON CITY, COLORADO.  TO BE TEAMED UP WITH PRISONERS;  GIVING BOTH PRISONER AND HORSE A SECOND CHANCE." - OR SOMETHING LIKE THAT.
I KNOW COLORADO WELL..KNOW THE AREA WHERE THESE HORSES LIVED; ALSO KNOW CANYON CITY IS A FEDERAL PENITENTIARY.  WE'RE NOT TALKING ABOUT DOGS FOLKS;  WILD HORSES ARE NOT HOUSE PETS.  THEIR BODY WEIGHT IS OVER ONE TON.  THEY HAVE NEVER BEEN AROUND HUMANS;  MUCH LESS HUMANS WITH "BEHAVIOR ISSUES."  THESE ANIMALS HAVE BEEN SENTENCED TO PURE HELL.

Wild Horses and Politics of the west Only a few of the horses will be trained by a few of the inmates.  They (The BLM) has already announced the horses will not go up for public adoption.  There have been three round-ups in Colorado this year...for a total of 415 horses.  If they aren't going for adoption, the only place they can go is to slaughter.

I am a Colorado resident and Tax- payer.  Those are my horses, and I say leave them alone.

Wild Horses Make National Magazine Be sure to pick up this month's Vanity Fair. Although the article does not mention the wild horse round up in Colorado, it does follow the mustangs' fate in other states.
