very interesting Were the Rocky and SUSA polls conducted at or near the same time period?

That might explain some of the variation if voters were still undecided.

Other than that, I think you're right. SUSA blew it.

RMN II and SUSA released their results on the same day. RMN I was conducted a month earlier.

Hmm... Your Ref I actual result is off. It was defeated 47-53, not 42-58.

The result changed after I posted due to late counted votes in places like Pueblo and Denver.
