We'll find out soon. The reasoning for holding if the anti-DP measure doesn't make it is that:

(1) There is already a DP referendum on the ballot, and

(2) The anti-gay marriage ban isn't anti-DP.

So, why clutter the ballot, when it won't accomplish much? The purpose of the pro-DP amendment is simply to counteract the anti-DP amendment.

Re: Updated Ballot Issue Scorecard

Fairness & Equality Someone inside the campaign told me over the weekend that had over 100,000.

It would be ridiculous to conclude that they would withhold their measure unless the anti-DP made the ballot, especially with the amount of money that has been dumped into the Fairness & Equality campaign as of late. The Stryker family has contributed hundreds of thousands. They do not hand out money like hot cakes. They do their research before investing in a political cause.

Re: Updated Ballot Issue Scorecard

Because the most recent data I have available is that they (1) had considerably fewer than 100,000 signatures, and (2) were not planning on putting their measure on the ballot unless the anti-DP measure makes the ballot. If you have access to better information that's great. What is your source?

Re: Updated Ballot Issue Scorecard

? Why would you put pro-domestic partnership in the to close to call catergory when they are reporting over 100,000 petition signatures?
