Unethical or Ethical PR Shop? Public Relations is not about providing the world a vague and non-direct communications. If it is, then I need to find a new mother-in-law.

If the Senator really feels this way, then lets hear it. We vote for an individual, not a PR company's opinion.

I feel that all elected government individuals need to start writing their own speeches and press releases.

We are electing them and trusting their own belief. Not a PR firm. If they can't articulate what they are saying, then we should NEVER trust them to lead us.

Proof of unethical behavior

As someone who has worked as a PR flack for the military, let me say this: I have helped right speeches and I have helped craft responses for admirals and generals, but never, ever, ever would I make up something he supposedly said and put it in quotes. So, it's obvious this was supposed to be filler (May I suggest a simple XXXXX XXXXX XXXXX next time, Steve?), but it's proof that Allard has a shitty, unethical PR shop.

Bill Hicks Obviously Sen. Allard has nothing but contempt for those who take on the most dangerous duties. This is typical of the Republicans, and should be construed as an attack on US troops as well. For shame on the Republican Senator. Come election time, all Coloradans outght to vote entirely Democratic to send a message. We've had enough of the Republican's contempt for working folks like us!

Uh, "Pardon my typo"? That's not a typo. A typo is a spelling error. This is more of a "faux pas," wherein a disrespectful joke in advertently saw the light of day.
