Hefley earned my respect when he refused to back off on ethics charges against DeLay despite all kinds of threats. Cost him his committee chairmanship didn't it? I think that took a lot of courage and might have cost him the primary.  Colorado Springs could have a much worse Republican than Hefley. &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;br&gt;Fawcett was gracious and that's fine with me.
