One could easily substitute "Mexican worker" today in conversations about Irish, Italians, Poles, Serbians, etc., that occured 100 years ago. &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;br&gt;America didn't go to hell in a handbasket then when we had similar global problems with hegemonic nations, fascist states, and fragile economies. &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;br&gt;And American won't go now.&lt;/p&gt;</description><dc:creator xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/">Wendy Norris</dc:creator><pubDate>Thu, 14 Dec 2006 12:37:51 -0000</pubDate></item></channel></rss>
