New group aims to help hunting and fishing community. The Theodore Roosevelt Conservation Partnership is a new organization whose home page message says  "Guaranteeing You a Place to Hunt and Fish".  The coalition includes hunting and fishing orgs, environmental & conservation orgs and unions. Membership is FREE. They already have over 100,000 individual members.

Our Mission: The Theodore Roosevelt Conservation Partnership is a coalition of leading hunting, fishing and conservation organizations, labor unions and individual grassroots partners working together to preserve the traditions of hunting and fishing by a.) expanding access to places to hunt and fish, b.) conserving fish and wildlife and the habitats necessary to sustain them, and c.) increasing funding for conservation and management.

They are working on oil and energy policy initiative called F.A.C.T.S.  They are calling for more Funding to manage wildlife habitat in affected resource areas. Accountability where the public is able to track that the decision are in compliance with the law. Coordination with outdoor interests, local and state governing entities and the public. Transparency in planning and decision making. Last but not least, Science that reduces the impacts on wildlife. You can sign the FACTS petition here.
