We reported here ten days ago that Sen. Ron Tupa will be introducing a state resolution opposing the troop increase.

Wag the Dog, Part II Today I heard a heartful account from an Hispanic mother fearing for her son's life in Iraq. He signed up to fight so that he could become a legal citizen. She asked why the war must continue. Will she ultimately lose her son in his quest to be an American?

This is one paragraph in the book of human tragedy happening on both sides of the Iraq War. Who, in their right mind, can say this war has accomplished anything?

Oh, yeah. The war did help re-elect Mr Cheney and Mr Bush. Ask the dead if Karl Rove is a political genius.
