Truth is, many seniors, who have practiced frugality all their lives, are helping out the younger generation who cannot survive the current economic climate on their own. And most seniors who own their own home and pay property taxes would rather starve and do without medicine than ask for help.
Make way for the younger generation, who cannot even make their house payments? I think not.
