The Colorado Independent: Nobel winners go for Obama, Joe the Plumber sticks with McCain

Joe is also releasing a country music album and recently got a publicist... Your average Joe, I don't think so.

In all fairness his name is Samuel J. Wurzelbacher - I'm sure you can guess what the "J" stands for. In fact, I know a lot of friends that must be lying to me when they tell me what their name is, because a great deal of them go by their middle name.

In fact the term is usually defined as:
    *****
a word or a combination of words by which a person, place, or thing, a body or class, or any object of thought is designated, called, or known.
    *****
So if he calls himself Joe, if his friends call him Joe - then in fact, his is "Joe."

Furthermore you have gravely misrepresented the claim that "a vote for Obama is a vote for the death of Israel." Allow me to clear that up for you. I person in attendance at the rally, who is Jewish, asked if he (Joe) felt that a vote for Obama would be a vote for the death of Isreal. After hesitating for a few seconds, Joe agreed - and nothing more was said.

Taken directly from the source of your link:
    *****
When the McCain supporter asked him if he believed "a vote for Obama is a vote for the death of Israel," Mr. Wurzelbacher replied, "I'll go ahead and agree with you on that."
    *****
As for your sister site claiming that he did not serve in the US Military - that is not true. According to the United States Air Force "Joe the Plumber" was stationed in Alaska. Through the state of Alaska you can also find previous listed addresses for Mr. Samuel Wurzelbacher from 1992-1995.

I still enjoy your articles though! Keep on writing!

Thanks for correcting me on the military thing. I merely wanted to promote another one of our affiliate site's great authors and didn't do any fact checking on my own. I'll have the page updated to reflect the new information.

    Most importantly, thanks for reading!

Those Nobel prize winners think they're so smart. They can thank Joe the Plumber for working so hard to give them the freedom to think about science and stuff.

His name is Samuel Joseph Wurzelbacher. The nickname Joe is short for Joseph. I'm surprised you didn't know that.
