The oil companies have made trillions the last few years, off our back and it's getting worse because the high price is reflected in everything we buy, especially basic necessities like food. When did we ever hear of paying $5 for a 5 lb. bag of potatoes, for instance? I'm sure some families are really hurting.
Bush went to Saudi Arabia purportedly to get us lower gas prices. When he came back the prices went UP. Obviously a conspiracy with the Saudis, to get an excuse to pass the drilling.
But the campaign ads are insinuating that drilling and leases would change the prices soon, they don't tell the truth of 20 or more years. How many LIES are the Dems going to let them get away with? It's infuriating!! They LIE and LIE.
