I know I said we should lay off of Sarah Palin, but this video from actor Matt Damon just screams for a broader audience.

    Hey Matt, EVERY POLITICAL APPOINTMENT AND VP PICK IS DONE FOR POLITICAL REASONS.....DUH

    You have a problem with a person who was Governor for 2 years and a Mayor of a THRIVING, yet small town, for 8 years.
    Those are Qualification that NEITHER B.Hussein nor Biden can claim.

    She had a MULTI-BILLION dollar budget, that she was WISE with, and Frugal with.

    NEITHER B.Hussein nor Biden have ever had a budget to control other than their household budgets.

    What is your problem, that she has Religious Faith or that she is a Mother?

    Wake Up Matte, More than 85% of the Nation have Religious Faith and about 40% of the Nation are Mothers.

    Excuse me. Taxes went up 38% and a town that had no debt when she entered office had millions of dollars of debt when she left.

    Not exactly frugal.

    Look at what she spent it on.

    Hardly wise.

    The problem is not that she's religious. I'm as religious as she is. Its the things she chooses to believe in the face of overwhelming evidence to the contrary. Lots of Christian religious groups (including almost all the majors) have figured out how to accept the Bible's creation story without finding fault in evolutionary theory. Its easy to do. Hint: How long is a day in the mind of an omnipotent God who has existed forever?

    Do you really want a potential president that thinks the earth is 5000 years old? To believe that requires that you think most of modern science is wrong. All of astrophysics is wrong. The massive body of repeatable scientific evidence is wrong. No reason to worry about the environment because Jesus is coming soon and God will destroy the earth when he does. What an idiot

    That is an ignorant stance to hold.

    For Centuries ANYONE who believed that Troy was Not a Mythological location, were Riddiculed and called fanatics.....Then the archeologist Thor Hyadal Found it.

    Just because someone has a Religious belief it DOES NOT automatically set them up for ridicule. It is Only when those who are ignorant and Not willing to look outside the box, that we are Subjected to this kind of Bigotry.

    Way to go Matt. I too am terrified at this prospect. McCain has done the America he claims to love a disservice. He is possibly putting the future of this country in the hands of someone who desperately needs to being coached by McCain's handlers so that she can respond semi intelligently in interviews with the press. This woman is a fake.

    At least someone had the balls to ask these questions. Republicans are saving face by promoting her like they are but in the back of their minds they have to be asking these same questions.     I don't think that Dinosaurs were here 4,000 years ago but I would like to know how Damon believes this connects with having nuclear codes? This is obviously non sequitur. Damon should stay with making movies and keep his feet out of his mouth, as he himself acknowledged in another interview as something he has a tendency to do.

    Matt Damon is very cool with lots of fans. I like the way he presents himself in interviews. He will thank the stunt men that help make the action movies he is in a success.

    Matt Damon and Moby both support Obama/Biden. Notice that the artists were one of the first to support Obama. Artist voices count too. This is a Democracy. Now Schmidt and Rove what to take out our artists this election year.

    Matt wake up!!!! your not even that good of an ACTOR. You have always been wealthy, spoiled, and LUCKY... wanna make a difference, give up your cash for the poor. GIVE IT ALL AWAY.. STOP TALKING AND DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT.
    Genius how can you criticize this woman? She represents thousands of other woman in small America, woman that deal with family issues, deal with people like you, and have a career.. and still find money to spend on your bad acting movies so you can become even more wealthy. WE the people like Sarah have made money for you.

    You should be very careful when you use the word "we". I am a women, religious, mother and come from a small town and Sarah Palin and I have nothing in common besides that. Most women's groups have endorsed Obama and Biden because they are concerned about women's issues as a whole. Sarah Palin is concerned with herself and her "circle". It is too bad you apparently missed a press conf. which included many women's groups you would have gotton an education. One small note (although there are many) rape victims in Alaska have to pay for their own examination kit the police use to investigate the crime, which can cost up to $1200, this was supported by Sarah Palin. That is so far from being a women advocate!!!! I do believe in our freedoms as American's so you certainly have a right to your own option, just talk for yourself.

    Matt Damon's career must be in the toilet, along with his brain. It's simple economics. Our country can't give what we don't have. We need to be energy efficient, reduce our need of foreign oil and stop being held hostage by the Middle East, Russia and the Venezuala's of the world.
    Oil runs the world and our country. It is in almost every product we buy and manufacture. It moves everything we manufacture the high cost of it makes everything go up.
    If we get rid of our dependence on foreign oil we can keep the $700 billion we send to the rest of the world and spend it on all the socialists programs we want. So if Palin can help us get that done then our country can move forward. All I see is Obama giving out money to the middle class. The middle class doesn't need a handout, they need jobs and a lower cost of living.
    By the way I'm glad Damon pointed out that Obama doesn't have enough experience. Isn't that what he was really saying?

    Don't be a tool Matt. Prove to me dinosaurs were not here 4000 years ago. I am sure you can't. But you advocate that people have some sort of belief in the progression of the earth and if they do not believe exactly as science claims at the moment this is a disqualification for president? Do you know how much scientific opinion has changed on this subject in the last 100 years? You require absolute faith in your unprovable beliefs, is this some sort of religion, the religion of evolution? Even the catholic church is ok with evolution, Matt apparently learned about the beliefs of Christians from some evolution teacher by the fact he is bringing up these 5000 year old earth arguments that are not taught in any churches.

    You want more time to get to know Palin? How much time do you need? Look at her on the issues she believes in freedom, lower taxes and right to bear arms. She believes in the defense of the nation. You say she won't be able to stare down Putin? Is this because she is a woman? I will tell you Putin will be far more afraid of Palin then Obama. With Obama in president no one will be afraid, the Muslims, the Chinese and the Russians will be making all kinds of bold moves.

    I already know more about Palin then I know about Obama, and Palin is only going to be VP. Obama is noting but fluff. No body questions his involvement in corrupt city politics, in the drug scene, with the Nation of Islam, of his America hating church. When did Cheney, or Gore, or Leiberman or any other VP's get grilled like Palin. The democrats are simply threatened by her is all. They thought they could stiff the Clintons. The democrats have moved so far socialist left that the Clintons are like republicans to them know. Matt, if you are too stupid to know how best to spend your money, then just mail it to Obama and let him spend it. But don't make me have to work so Obama can decide how best to spend my money for his undefined hope and change. I know best how to spend my money. Damon is scared of Palin, but I am scared on non-religious socialists, because when they feel self rightous they take my money and pat them selves on the back for turning me into a slave to the government to work for their causes.

    the candidate damon is for claims to be a Christian, so i guess he should've included his "messiah" obama in his dinosaur comments about palin. i'm sick of these pompous celebs, and the garbage that comes out of their mouths. yep, they have a right to express their opinions, no matter how stupid they are. i'm glad i have the right to express mine.

    What now Matt Damon is a political expert? Give me a break! I'm an independent, and there are reasons I like both of them. But why doesn't good ol' Matt get frightened of Obama being in office? Attention there Matt, but Obama has written more books than bills as a US Senator. He's been a senator for two years, but the last year of that has been devoted to running for President. I've served in the military, and I am married to an active duty member. Can you tell me what Obama is going to do for military families, and also keep the soilders over seas safe? Yeah, I didn't think so. Keep your celebrity opinions to yourself. No one is interested

    I don't understand all the anger from a lot of military people. I am a democrate, very patriotic and have a huge amount of respect for the military. My brother in-law is a retired Lt. Col from the Air Force (he is actually a strong supporter of Obama). Just because Democrates have a little different view regarding foreign policy (like having strong allies has essential in the war against terror) does not mean you are not appreciate, I appreciate what you do very much. Also I have another brother-inlaw that is enlisted Army and he and his family were eligiable for food stamps. I think that is disgraceful and I feel you are selling Obama short i find him to be very concerned about the military.
