Andrew Boucher - Republican and Conservative A correction to your post. There are Republicans and there are Conservatives. Andrew Boucher is a Republican. He is not a Conservative.

    Thank you.

Andrew Boucher As Deep Throat said, 'Follow the money'. How does a guy like Andrew Boucher, who does not have a regular paycheck, manage to afford a house in Larimer County appraised at more than $250,000.00? There are more than a few working joes in the state of Colorado who would like to know how this is done. Where does Andrew Boucher get his money from?

Andrew Boucher The headline on The Rocky Mountain Chronicle, where this piece was published, is misleading. Andrew Boucher is not a GOP darling. I know a lot of people who like to see the back of him, leaving Colorado and going back to New Hampshire. Your attempts to paint with such broad strokes, blinded by your obvious bigotry and prejudice toward anyone who does not march lockstep with your agenda, make you no different than him.

    WHO pays your bills, incidentially?

what is bigoted or prejudiced in this story? The fact remains that Andrew Boucher's 527 political committee has been cited by a watchdog group for failing to file required reports with the IRS and the Secy of State. That's a matter of public record which I confirmed through my own research besides the linked complaint by CCEG.

Looking into Boucher's professional history through public records demonstrates a clear pattern of failing to file required reports with the campaigns where he has held a leadership role.

Boucher's public writing on his blog and at the Fort Collins Weekly demonstrated a clear pattern of criticizing local government for what he considers a lack of transparency on financial issues.

In the meantime, there are GOP elected officials and supporters who continue to hire Mr. Boucher despite public knowledge of his tactics. While I have no doubt he has his share of detractors who would like to see him run out of town on a rail (other GOP blogs have few kind words for him), it is fair game to ask why he fails to play by the rules himself while aggressively campaigining and editorializing against political opponents using the very same arguments that they are not transparent enough.

    Pot meet kettle, indeed.

Wendy Norris loves Andrew Boucher According to The Fort Collins Weekly your recent article about Andrew Boucher was just hard nuts. Apparently you got a lot of facts wrong.

    Who pays your bills again?

problem is... ... you apparently didn't "ask" Mr. Boucher anything. Isn't it a standard of any sort of journalism that you call the subject of your reporting to get their comment? Especially if you want him to defend himself? Fishy ...
