John McCain has suspended his campaign so he can go back to D.C. and work on fixing this whole economy thing. OK, whatever. But as David Letterman pointed out last night, at least one person on McCain's campaign doesn't need to head back to D.C. â Sarah Palin. So far, though, McC

What was McCain thinking? If she had any honor, she would step down in the hope that McCain could win with a stronger veep. This isn't a beauty pageant or popularity contest, this is our country and our kids future.

NEWSWIRE--A CNN host says the McCain campaign's decision to shield Sarah Palin from the media is sexist.
"She's a bird of a whole different feather," they whoop,
"With her plumage and pluck, we'll prevail."
Yet the vultures and hawks and the doves in the coop
Have her pigeonholed more as a Quayle.

Shut up, you're too dumb to talk.
Stand by the old white dude and show a little leg.
You could become prez someday.
COMMUNICATION, GENERALLY, HAS NOT BEEN HER THING.
Interviews show that Ms. Palin runs an administration that puts a premium on loyalty and secrecy. The governor and her top officials sometimes use personal e-mail accounts for state business; dozens of e-mail messages obtained by The New York Times show that her staff members studied whether that could allow them to circumvent subpoenas seeking public records.
Ms. Palin and aides use their private e-mail addresses for state business. A campaign spokesman said the governor copied e-mail messages to her state account when there was significant state business.
As Ms. Palin’s star ascends, the McCain campaign, as often happens in national races, is controlling the words of those who know her well. Her mother-in-law, Faye Palin, has been asked not to speak to reporters, and aides sit in on interviews with old friends.
I was thinking, I don’t remember giving up my First Amendment rights, Ms. Woodruff said. Just because you’re not going gaga over Sarah doesn’t mean you can’t speak your mind.
Their secrecy is off the charts, Mr. Steiner said.
Armed with an army of Republican lawyers from Washington DC, Todd Palin has announced he will not comply with legislative subpoenas which the law prohibits for one simple reason -- because nothing can be done about it until after the election, and it's unlikely much will be done to punish him for breaking the law. Sarah Palin has similarly ordered all of her aides to refuse to comply with these subpoenas.
It is illegal in the State of Alaska to fail to comply. There is no doubt that the Legislature has the right to investigate and that these Subpoenaas are lawfully issued.
Ignoring a legislative subpoena is punishable by a fine up to $500 and up to six months in jail under Alaska law. But courts are reluctant to intervene and the Legislature is not scheduled to convene until January.

He was/is a rustic (a people's choice) who was very proud of his small-town values and support.
Sparely educated, he would make similar remarks. He would eat and talk in 'small town ways'..
He was RIDICULED to the core by the press and made into a laughing-stock by the elite.
He ended up today at the top reforming the Indian Train system as a Railway Minster in a dazzling success story that left his rivals speechless- in what some say is a miracle.
Lesson: Who we laugh at today may end up laughing at us tomorrow.
P.S. Palin still does not have my vote (I'm an animal rights advocate and do not agree with her polices). However, I am appalled at the delight of her treatment meted out to her. Shame on us who are supposed to embrace all.

What about Biden asking a senator in a wheel chair to stand up. Or when he said during the market crash in '29 Roosevelt got on TV to address Americans. Hoover was president in '29 and there was no TV. So Palin isn't the only one. If you want to look at imperfections look at the Democrat candidates.

If elected, McCain will die in office in his sleep, so Palin the inept can be manipulated and puppeteered by the real powers and then scapegoated.

Look at Rush L., who BASHED a thinking woman Clinton on her looks and age (but will not do so for a male MCain). Then he praises to the sky as as a sensitive soul on the looks of his babe, Palin. It does not matter if Clinton thought-- it matters on looks and age, frankly for a woman. Yes, folks, this is their women's rights.
My take: Palin was happy in her paradise, Alaska. But plucked away from there as a woman-pawn, Palin is big victim of this party, pure and simple. She is/will be a puppet of the Rove gang who made Bush a similar puppet and fall guy.. made into an image of a "a women who is fighting the big-boys".. all the while, the big boys control the srings: scripting her into what to say, do, talk.. and yes, even take the fall. Status Quo is disguise..
