The Colorado Independent: Focus Blames Foley

    this makes my head spin
...it's sad that so much of the dialogue today is so political in nature...

It wouldn't be a political discussion if the House GOP leadership would have handled the initial allegation ONE YEAR AGO by properly reporting it to the Capitol police and/or FBI.

An investigation should have been immediately launched. Rather Speaker Hastert and others engaged in a political damage control effort.  It now appears that they also conspired to cover-up the incident by failing to notify the other members of the House Page Board.

Nowhere in the Republican leaderships' actions was the safety of the pages a consideration. That's criminal, literally and figuratively.

Look Into A Mirror Foley's actions imply there is a new definition for the phrase: "focus on the family."

Is it Focus on the Family or Focus on Bashing the Left? The only "politically correct notion" I see through this whole scandal is that republican neo-cons are more concerned about their political butts and retainment of power rather than the concern of the underage victims.  The members of this Focus on the Family group should make this nutjob step-down--period!!
