    You have to wonder why a parent would preach "just say no" (abstinence) to teens and not tell them WHY they should abstain (re STD's, pregnancy, etc.), and not give them information on how to prevent pregnancy just in case they didn't abstain.
    Mom should have been paying attention and preparing her daughter for adulthood. If the kid ended up pregnant anyway, at least Mom would have upheld her responsibilities and tried. It is too bad that it is politically correct to question Mom's nurturing.
    And now it's a-ok because there's talk of a shotgun wedding, to compound the mistake, yeah right ,a 17 yr. old girl and her jock boyfriend are well suited to be married.
    And it's too bad these are the dictates they want us all to live by.
    No thanks, GOPS, we have our own family values.

    One really has to question this woman's "nurturing" when she embarrassed her young daughter by putting her out there as a public spectacle. She must have known this would happen when she accepted the candidacy.

    Even parents tell their children about pregnancy, i think nothing is still change in the child's mind in understanding pregnancy, if a male treat female for sex and the female like the boy, why not? It will really just depend if we think in our future.
