Conservative groups slam Ken Salazar for his “war on the poor” energy policy

Colorado Senator Ken Salazar, as well as other high-ranking Democrats in the U.S. House and Senate, have come under fire from conservative groups claiming that Salazar's energy policies hurt poor Americans.

first of all The Congress of Racial Equality has been around since 1942. Even if you don't agree with them, as least don't put out there like they are some fly-by-night organization.
As for the High Impact Leadership Coaltion; this group may not be as established as CORE, they are a credible group,, how about saying they are a pro-life, pro-family group.
As for oil drilling; It is true that some in Congress have repeatly block efforts to increase U.S. drilling.
Even as all the polls show that most Americans feel we need to decrease our dependency on foreign oil.
