The Colorado Independent: Coloradans Fared Better Than Many in Passport Delays

It's even easier in the military I remember going on base to take a photo and getting it in two days in 2002. From what I hear, it's the same process.  It's for duty and not for vacation, but still not a hassle.

Both DeGette & Sen. Salazar's Staff worked Passport Wonders for two of my Dem friends. In the last 3 months or so I had two friends with passport problems and refered one to Diana DeGette and the other to Sen. Salazar's office, in both cases the Denver offices.

I am happy to report that both of my friend ( both Dems) were amazed at the speed that both DeGette & Sen. Salazar Staffers solved their problems.

Both of these public servants have responsive and competent Staffers.

13 weeks. That's how long it takes. According to the Vail Post Office. For standard passport return in our area. I opted to pay the additional fees for expedited service which they say is about two weeks. Otherwise, our passports wouldn't return 'til after daughter is back in school.

Wish I hadn't let my passport expire. It would have been much easier and less expensive.

Glad to know the Congressional members are able to help.
