    While the blogger still hasn't replied to an e-mail sent about a half hour before this story posted, he did later add further explanation on the Pols diary. He says since he'd wound up with admin access, he felt obliged to take the site down so he wouldn't be blamed if someone else came along and messed things up soon after. But you're right, the Musgrave campaign is unlikely to see it as the act of a friendly netizen.
