The Colorado Independent: Beauprez Keeps Digging Own Grave

Something's Certainly and Seriously Amiss Seems like the more the Beauprez camp stalls, spins, and spirals, the higher up the food-chain the secret source might have been. Otherwise, by now, a lowly campaign worker would have "offered" to sacrifice their career by falling on the scapegoat sword to end the speculation.

If This Tells Us Anything It speaks to the importance of not having this cloud of scandal hanging over the State Capitol and the Governor's Mansion, if by some remote chance Both-Ways were to get elected. Think of that mess! Think of the hit to Colorado's reputation that would cause.

The bottom line is election day... I am confident Ritter would not have leveled that charge unless he had good reason to believe it was true.  But politics is quirky; just because it seems like this will help Ritter, don't count on it.  We've got to stay focused and get out the vote.
